Chasan

Chasan was a celestial and Rakos. He was one of the older members, and served as the tactical and war expert of the group.

During the reign of The Sapphires Chasan, under the guise of Lysander Sapphire, acted as the military leader of the family, taking over control of The Janissaries after Sachiel's's death.

During his time as a Sapphire, Chasan also fell in love with several humans, leading to many sordid affairs and two children. The first was Sachiel. Upon his birth, Asteraoth had Chasan's memories of the child erased, and adopted him into the family.

Chasan's second half-blood child Miles would prove a step too far for Asteraoth, who placed a curse upon Chasan's mind to block out his emotions entirely. However, when Sachiel kidnapped Miles in an attempt to trap the members of Vers Raviwric, this would cause a crack in the curse.

Eventually, this crack grew such that Chasan found himself entering Duldural alone to confront his son, only to fall unconscious as the curse fought back.

Queen Talara and Rylo Denne worked together to carefully lift the curse, and after doing so Chasan swore a vow of peace and lived out his final years making up for lost time with his son. He eventually died peacefully in Vers Skjoll as his connection to the Heavenly Realm failed.
